In 1999, David Hadley founded Hadley Partners, Inc. (HPi). HPi is an investment banking firm that has assisted well over 100 entrepreneurial companies in the financing or sale of their businesses. HPi specializes in representing entrepreneurial and family-owned businesses with values above $10 million. David and his colleagues have helped HPi’s client companies create thousands of jobs.
Prior to establishing HPi, David was a managing director at BT Alex Brown, an investment-banking firm. In his thirteen years at BT Alex Brown, David helped complete over $50 billion in merger, acquisition and financing transactions for clients.
Proud husband, father & loving family man
David Hadley was born in Orange County, raised in Fullerton and graduated from Servite High School in Anaheim. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH) and his Master’s degree at the London School of Economics.
David and his wife Suzanne have been married for 23 years and they’re the proud parents of four children. Their 21-year-old son, Jack, is a senior "firstie" at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Their three daughters are Claire (19), Ellen (17) and Faith (15). Claire is a sophomore at The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Ellen is a senior and Faith a sophomore at Mira Costa High School.
David coached Little League baseball and softball, and has spent time on most of the soccer, baseball and softball fields of the South Bay. Suzanne is responsible for the Hadley kids’ musical instruction.
Active in the community with deep South Bay roots
Suzanne and David Hadley are active in their local community, including supporting the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation and MBX (formerly the Manhattan Beach Athletic Foundation).
David is also a proud member of both the Go For Broke National Education Center and the Redondo Beach Elks Lodge #1378. Suzanne is a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain and was the Volunteer Chair of Circle of Love Pre-School at First Lutheran Church. The family attends Journey of Faith Church.
Common sense governance for all Californians
In 2014, David Hadley was greatly honored with his election to the California Legislature where he represents the South Bay’s 66th Assembly District. In 2012, David was elected to serve on the GOP 66th Assembly District Central Committee (receiving the most votes in Los Angeles County), and was elected Chair by his colleagues. David subsequently founded the South Bay 100. The South Bay 100 (now the South Bay 300) is a community of local elected officials, community leaders and concerned residents throughout the district who are working together to change the political landscape of the South Bay.
Prior to being elected to his party leadership position, David was Chairman of the Beach Cities Republicans. In 2011-2012, David was also a regular contributor of opinion articles to the editorial pages of the Daily Breeze, the Daily News and the Long Beach Press-Telegram.
